Frequently asked questions
What is CellCi Bio HOCl Mist?
It's an innovative hypochlorous acid solution. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is the same molecule your white blood cells naturally produce to fight off bacteria, infection, and harmful microorganisms in your body. As part of your immune response, producing HOCl is one of the ways your body heals itself. Bringing this molecule to the surface of your skin, will keep you and your skin healthy, clear, and glowing.
What are the full ingredients?

How do I use CellCi Bio HOCl Mist?
In the AM and PM, spray 3-4 pumps on clean skin to calm pores and prep for your skincare routine. By eliminating harmful microorganisms and pollution, your skin is ready to receive the full benefits of skincare. Can also be used as a post-workout spray, or skin reset during the day if you find yourself in highly polluted areas.
Are other HOCl products in the markets same?
No — other manufacturers use hypochlorite (bleach), buffers, or additives in their production processes, which can result in an impure HOCl product containing bleach or other contaminates.
Are there any side effects?
While HOCl is a natural part of the human body’s internal immune system, there are people who have chlorine allergies. If you have a known chlorine allergy, it is always advisable to test a small area before full application, and communicate with your doctor prior to use.
How should I store the product?
For optimal storage we recommend keeping the bottle away from direct sunlight or heat, maintaining a tight seal when the cap is not in use, and never adulterating the product.
What is HOCL?
HOCl, also known as Hypochlorous Acid, describes the elements Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Chlorine. HOCl is produced inside the white blood cells as one of the key components of your internal defense system, working to fight infection and bacteria, and enhance the healing process. When produced outside of the body, HOCl offers these same benefits.
How does HOCL works on wounds/infections/burns?
HOCl hypes up immune responses, targets bacteria, causes blood to clot faster, and stimulates the migration of keratinocytes (cells of the outer layer of skin) to move in and close wounds and promotes new skin cell growth over wounds.
How does HOCl work on viruses?
HOCl is an antimicrobial biocide that inactivates pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, spores, and fungi.
Is HOCl chlorine/bleach?
No — while HOCl, chlorine, and bleach all live on the same spectrum, they are entirely different molecules. HOCl, chlorine, and bleach have atoms in common, but they are arranged differently and that makes a huge difference in what they can do and how they react. HOCl is more than 100 times stronger than bleach, yet it is safe enough for skin contact, non-toxic, not caustic, and does not damage skin cells.
How does HOCl work on anti-aging?
HOCl reorganizes scar fiber and activates tissue collagenase enzymes which are responsible for affecting the behavior of the fibroblast cells that lay down scar tissue.
